The night sky has long served as a universal dreamscape. While cultures across the globe have used constellations and imaginary pictures to interpret the heavens—often sharing similar themes and archetypes—the perspective of a flat Earth with stars revolving around us is an illusion that once shaped early astronomical understanding.

In this presentation, we will unravel the mechanics of our ever-changing sky and explore the true motions, a natural wonder, of the heavens. Using constellations and asterisms as our guideposts, we will navigate the night and the seasons while discovering the observable effects of daily, annual, and planetary motion.
